Altamila is a running event that takes place every year on the first weekend of August. The event consists of three main distances, as well as a children's race: Sport 1 Alta Half Marathon - 21.1 km, Advanti Altamila - 10 km, and Fun Run - 5 km (without timing). Both Advanti Altamila and Sport 1 Alta Half Marathon are certified by a certified course measurer from the Norwegian Athletics Association and have been described as very fast and easy to run courses, with great opportunities to set personal records.
