Arctic Triple // Lofoten Ultra-Trail® is a trail race that takes you through the spectacular Lofoten Islands from Moskenesøy to Austvågøy. The race takes place in week 22 each year, and the routes pass through amazing landscapes of mountain ridges, white beaches, green hills, and gray cliffs, with the sea always in sight. The finish line is in the picturesque town of Svolvær, surrounded by steep mountains by the harbor – pure magic.

Highlights

  • Lofoten Ultra-Trail was mentioned in Runners World (Oct. 2017) as one of the most beautiful races in the world and consists of several different distances.
  • The extreme distance is 100 miles (166 km) and starts at the innermost part of the spectacular Kjerkfjorden, near Reine in western Lofoten.
  • The popular distance of the Lofoten Ultra-Trail is 24 km and crosses 2 mountains with a total elevation gain of 1000 meters, offering a fantastic 360-degree panoramic view of Lofoten's beautiful mountains and sea.
