Bèrghem Ultra Trail is our classic trail running event, offering a range of trail distances, all set against the stunning backdrop of the Hedmark plateau (Hedmarksvidda). The Hedmark plateau is home to some of Norway's untouched forests, as well as a famous witch mountain. Runners can expect a mix of marked trails and marked/unmarked gravel roads. The landscape is characterized by small peaks and birch and spruce trees, but the real challenge lies in the bogs and wetlands that dominate the entire area. Don't be fooled by its low profile - this terrain is among the toughest in Norway.
