"Beteberget Opp" was first held in August 2016. It is a mountain race that starts at Midtvangi in the valley bottom of Brydalen and ends on the mountain, 400 meters higher up. The course follows the road south along the valley bottom and up the mountain path to Bete, covering a distance of 3.8 km. This is a test of strength with an average incline of 15%, where the steepest section reaches a full 51%. The race is divided into competitive and recreational classes, making it suitable for both seasoned mountain runners and regular fitness enthusiasts.
