The Bislett Mile is a low-threshold athletics event where both elite athletes and recreational runners have the opportunity to run at Bislett Stadium. Elite heats are organized for senior men and women in the 5,000m and 10,000m, as well as 5 km and 10 km for recreational runners, with both genders competing in the same heat. This event provides an excellent opportunity to meet the national championship standard for the 10,000m, with good pacers present.
