On August 23, the second Drøbakløpet 2025 organized by DFI is set to take place. The race replaces the traditional Blomstermila and changes both the course route and the location of the start/finish, which will now be at Drøbak Torg. The most significant change is that the race will be held in August, after the school year starts, instead of in June when most people are occupied with the end of school and vacation plans. The course will take participants through beautiful areas in Drøbak, and we want the town center to be bustling with life that afternoon.
Highlights
- The race replaces the traditional Blomstermila and changes both the course route and the location of the start/finish line - which will now be at Drøbak Torg.
- The route follows the fjord via Vindfangern, to Badeparken and past Drøbak Church before running up Storgata and to the finish.
- Parts of the course will be cordoned off with tape to ensure traffic safety, but this allows the market stalls to remain and the restaurants to be filled up.
