Fjellseterløpet, originally known as Sigmonds Staup, is a traditional uphill race from Lerkendal to Skistua, which has been part of the student culture in Trondheim for many years. The race was established in 1987 as a follow-up to the original Staup, starting at Marienborg, but was moved to Lerkendal in 1996. The course is 8.1 km long, starting at an elevation of 34 meters and finishing at 436 meters at the foot of Gråkallen.
