Flækøyhøe UPP is a mountain running event held in Skjåk, known as "spring's steepest adventure." The race starts at Bismo and goes through the center and along the walking and cycling path to Skamsarbrua, before taking you up to Morken farm and further into rugged terrain. Participants climb from 400 meters above sea level to the finish at a cairn at 1100 meters above sea level, at the border of Breheimen National Park. It is a great opportunity for both competition and socializing, with options for the whole family to participate.

Highlights

  • The race offers challenging terrain and beautiful nature, attracting participants from near and far.
  • Participants in the recreational class can start between 8:00 AM and 10:00 AM without timing, while the competitive class starts at 11:00 AM.
  • New this year is that the fitness class can participate in a "Flækøyhøe Upp light" with the finish line at Øvre Flaten at approximately 620 meters above sea level.
