Galdane Rundt is a scenic running route that takes you through two historic road constructions: the King's Road from the 1790s and the Bergen Main Road from the 1840s. Along the way, you will experience impressive waterfalls, old tenant farms, myth-laden sites, German military installations, and the famous Lærdalselvi river. The loop is perfect for families, and you can choose between different starting points at Koren or Sjurhaugen to customize the route to your preferences.

Highlights

  • You pass by towering waterfalls, old homesteads, myth-laden places, and German military installations.
  • The round trip is nice together with the children!
  • Both starting points have parking, benches, toilets, and facilities for disposing of trash.
