The Hamarløpet is a 10-kilometer street race through the best surroundings that the inland town of Hamar has to offer. The purpose of the Hamarløpet is to contribute to public health by motivating both young and old to lead active lives. We welcome our fastest runners, but also aim to create an arena for those who typically do not participate in other racing events, yet wish to challenge themselves or their neighbors. Here, O2-snatchers and everyday exercisers can meet on a common platform, where prestige is toned down and the joy of activity is cultivated.
