In just over three weeks, I will be running the Hardangerjøkulen ultra. It is a new race on the calendar and has only previously been held as a trial race in 2018. I included it in my race calendar for two main reasons: Hardangervidda is incredibly beautiful, and it is an area I have never run in before. The race is 100 km long with about 2500 meters of elevation gain, starting and finishing in Eidfjord.

Highlights

  • The race is 100 km long with approximately 2500 meters of elevation gain.
  • There is a new race on the calendar, which was only previously held as a trial run in 2018.
  • Hardangervidda is absolutely beautiful, and it's an area I have never run in before.
