Hell Backyard Ultra (HBU) is a form of ultramarathon where participants must run a lap of 6706 meters (4.167 miles) in under one hour. If you complete the lap in less than one hour, you have the rest of the time for recovery before the next lap starts. The concept of HBU is that the race continues until there is only one runner who completes a full lap. The current record for HBU is held by Arild Moen, who ran 32 laps in the 2023 edition.
