The Summer Carousel Holavatnet Round was first organized in 1983 and is now in its 41st season. On average, about 130 people show up every Wednesday to exercise or test their fitness in the scenic course. The route goes around Holavatnet on asphalt and gravel paths, and it's easy to bring a stroller along for the round.
Highlights
- The course is 3.1 km long, consisting of 1.1 km of asphalt, 1.8 km of gravel road, and 0.2 km of asphalt.
- There is a nature trail for children in the hiking class, with a prize located at the "cabin" (about 450 meters above sea level).
