The Holavatnet Round Summer Carousel was first organized in 1983 and is now in its 41st season. On average, about 130 people show up every Wednesday to exercise or test their fitness in the scenic route around Holavatnet. The course is 3.1 km long, with 1.1 km of asphalt, 1.8 km of gravel road, and 0.2 km of asphalt, making it easy to bring a stroller along the route.
