Nestled between Jotunheimen and the North Sea, you will find Hornindal, surrounded by some of the most spectacular mountains in the North. Hornindal Rundt is an annual ultra mountain race that was first held in 2010, offering two distances: a 75 km ultra mountain race with 5600 meters of elevation gain and a 38 km mountain race with 2900 meters of elevation gain. The race features 20 mountain checkpoints and is renowned for its toughness and scenic beauty.
