Hornindalsvatnet Marathon is an annual competition that has been held since 1992. Competitions are held in the distances of marathon, half marathon, 10 km, and mini marathon, in addition to the mini marathon – a non-timed fun run. This year's course will largely follow last year's route, after we had to cut out the "loop course" to Otterdal in 2024 due to landslide risk at Otterdalsstranda. Participants can expect a scenic route along the deepest lake in Europe, Hornindalsvatnet, surrounded by high mountains and lush landscapes.
