Kvasshovden Opp is a mountain running race organized by Ulvik Idrettslag, which was first held in 2008. The race has since become a great success, with over 500 participants in 2009 and has been part of the Powerade Norwegian Cup in mountain running. The course starts in the center of Ulvik at about 10 meters above sea level and finishes at the top of Kvasshovden, 1030 meters above sea level, over a distance of 7.5 km. At the top, a fantastic view of the western Norwegian fjord landscape awaits.
