The Pink Ribbon Run raises awareness for breast cancer and the proceeds go to the Pink Ribbon Campaign. Participants can choose between a short course of about 2-3 km without timing, or a long course of about 5-6 km with timing. The event focuses on camaraderie, the joy of running, and engagement, and last year, a total of 21,090 people participated. It's not about how fast you run, but about spreading awareness for an important cause and showing solidarity.

Highlights

  • The Pink Ribbon Run is a powerful symbol of solidarity and togetherness, and half of the entry fee goes directly to the breast cancer cause.
  • The course in Trondheim runs along the Nidelven, with the start and finish area in front of Nidaros Cathedral, and is accessible for both runners and wheelchair users.
  • The event has been held for the ninth time and focuses on celebrating life, even though breast cancer is a serious illness.
