Sherpatrappa Opp is Tromsø's toughest stair race, taking place in Tromsdalen. The race follows Sherpatrappa, a stone staircase that starts at Fløyvegen on the height of Lilleaksla and zigzags up the mountain until it ends at the radio mast on the mountain plateau by Fjellheisen. The staircase, built by Nepalese mountain workers from 2016 to 2019, has a total of 1203 steps. The event is scheduled for Saturday, September 7, 2024.
