Skarsteinsetra Opp is a mountain race that was first held in 2011. Here, runners and cyclists start simultaneously in Olden center and compete to be the first to reach Skarsteinsetra, creating many exciting duels. The recreational class is open to everyone, and many participants come with strollers, contributing to a festive atmosphere in the finish area. The finish line is at the idyllic Skarsteinsetra, which boasts one of the finest views in the area. The course is 4.6 km long with an elevation gain of 400 m.
