The Athletics Group in Oppegård IL is also organizing a cross-country running series this year. The races are open to everyone, regardless of age and ambitions, and will take place on May 6, May 20, June 3, August 26, and September 9 at the Clubhouse, Østre Greverud. Participants can register for 200 NOK for all the races or 80 NOK per individual race. The cross-country races will take place during the training sessions for the athletics group's athletes, and there will be no regular training at Sofiemyr Stadium on the relevant days.
Highlights
- Before the 1st heat begins, there will be group warm-up sessions, where participants will run through the course, ensuring that everyone who is going to race becomes familiar with the layout of the course.
- Distribution of race numbers will take place from the stage inside Haraldsvang starting at 5:00 PM, and we ask that the coaches for the groups take responsibility for distributing to their group to avoid congestion.
- Oppegård IL Athletics encourages all children, young people, and adults of all ages to join this year's running carousel!
