This year's Christmas race was also the year's toughest race, as the conditions were challenging for the 24 participants who competed in the Thursday Run's season finale. Wind and above-freezing temperatures ensured that the melting really picked up pace and created slush in large parts of the course, making it especially challenging to complete. All participants put in a tremendous effort, with Daniel Skjelhaugen winning decisively, while Fairuz Syed Ahmad was the top female finisher. After the race, coffee, mulled wine, and cakes were served to everyone.
