Ålesund Winter Carousel consists of 5 races throughout the winter, starting at 2:00 PM from BestDrive in Fremmerholen every other Saturday from November to March. The first race in the winter carousel 2025/2026 takes place on Saturday, November 8, 2025. Participants can choose between two distances of 5 and 10 km, which are held on officially measured courses into Brusdalen. The 5 km distance also has a category for recreational runners without timing, and there is little car traffic on Gamle Brusdals veg.
