The Ålesund Winter Series consists of 5 races throughout the winter, starting at 2:00 PM from BestDrive in Fremmerholen on the second Saturday of November, December, January, February, and March. The first race in the 2025/2026 winter series takes place on Saturday, November 8, 2025. The race offers two distances of 5 and 10 km on certified courses, which go into Brusdalen and turn around after 2.5 and 5 km. Participants can choose between the competitive class (with timing) or the recreational class (without timing), and there is little vehicle traffic along the route.
